Piper’s Alley

Pipers Alley wanted something unique to set them apart from the rest. They said “We want him to be a Gentlemen, he should be smoking a Cigar, it’s a pub.”. I immediately thought MONOCLE. I drew up some sketches (below). They picked him out first round. I set out to create him in Vector art so that he could be enlarged at optimum crispness. We contracted a local sign manufacturing company to lay him out in Vinyl for their front signage. Pipers Alley is located at 34802 South Gratiot Ave, Clinton Twp. MI 48035. When I tell folks I designed that sign they sometimes come back to me with “I swear I’ve seen that thing wink!” haha.
